    • As part of its efforts to foster & strengthen cultural relations and mutual understanding between India and other countries, ICCR through ICC, administers a “Distinguished Visitors Programme” under which the Council facilitates visits to India by eminent scholars, intellectuals, leading representatives of think-tanks and cultural institutions, well-known personalities in the field of politics, academics, art & culture so that they may be able to interact with institutions and academics in India.
    • Sir Moti Tikaram, retired Justice of Supreme Court, Fiji had been invited to visit India under the Distinguished Visitors Programme-2010-2011 to the Indian Council for Cultural Relations. While conveying the invitation to Sir Moti Tikaram, the President of ICCR, 
      Dr. Karan Singh, said that India and Fiji share traditional historical and cultural linkages, and that the visit by Sir Moti Tikaram would further strengthen bilateral relations and enable our two countries to establish a greater understanding.
