Invitation for Tender of AMC for Garden Maintenance Services of India House, Suva.
Addendum to Tender Notice

Reference Tender notice of even no. dated 06.08.2026 floated by High Commission of India, Suva  regarding  AMC for garden maintenance services of India House, Suva (72 Princess Road, Suva)

Notice Inviting Tender has been modified as per details given below:

2. Performance Security:
   (i)     If any of the assigned work is not found satisfactory, an appropriate amount will be deducted for every major deficiency from the bill for the respective month. The decision of the High Commission of India, Suva will be final in this regard.
   (ii)     Inordinate delays of maintenance work may be treated as breach of contract and shall be noted as deficient performance and be held against the contractor in future tenders. A show-cause notice shall be issued to the contractor before declaring it a deficient performance. In case Mission/Post decides to allow performance of contract after inordinate delays, upto 10% of the total contract value will be recovered from the contractor as liquidated damages.

3. Non-consultancy Services
   (i) Gardening AMC also comes under the category of non-consultancy. It may be read as non-consultancy instead of Consultancy Services and all financial terms and conditions would remain the same.

4. Validity of contract may be read as under:
   (i) The contract, if awarded shall be valid for a period of ONE YEAR (01 year). The contract, may be extended annually on year to year basis, for further 02 years (maximum tenure of 03 years from the date of start of work initially) as per the contract signed on the same terms and conditions and same  rates, subject to satisfactory services provided by the vendor.  In case of breach of contract or in the event of not fulfilling the minimum requirement/ statutory requirement, the client (High Commission of India, Suva) shall have the right at any time to terminate the contract forthwith in addition to forfeiting the performance security amount deposited by the contractor and initiated administrative action for black listing etc. solely at the discretion of the competent authority in the High Commission of India, Suva. 

5. Site Visit: The bidder may visit the site from 16-18.08.2026.
6. Earnest Money Deposit: In place of Earned Money Deposit (EMD) bidders are required to sign a Bid Security Declaration. 
7. All other criteria, guidelines, terms and conditions will remain same as given in the above referred Tender Notice.
