On 16 April 2026, High Commissioner Suneet Mehta convened the monthly meeting with leaders of Diaspora Organizations, fostering dialogue and shared commitment to enhancing India’s soft power presence and community partnerships in Fiji.


On 17 April 2026, High Commissioner Suneet Mehta attended the State Funeral of the late former President Ratu Epeli Nailatikau at Albert Park in Suva, followed by the burial at his chiefly home on Bau Island.


On 16 April 2026, High Commissioner Suneet Mehta joined the Government Leaders, Members of Parliament, the Diplomatic Corps, and Government Representatives in paying tribute to late former President Ratu Epeli Nailatikau, who laid in state at the State House in Suva.


On 15 April 2026, High Commissioner Suneet Mehta visited Fiji Ministry of Foreign Affairs to extend deepest condolences on the passing of former President and Speaker, Ratu Epeli Nailatikau.


On 14 April 2026, High Commissioner Suneet Mehta joined the Sangat in celebrating the joyous occasion of Baisakhi, reflecting on its profound significance — the founding of the Khalsa by Guru Gobind Singh Ji and its timeless message of unity, courage, and equality.


On 03 April 2026, High Commissioner Suneet Mehta was delighted to attend the 64th Sanatan Convention in Navua as Chief Guest.
