High Commissioner Presentation of Credentials in Kiribati

On 18 June 2026, High Commissioner Suneet Mehta was pleased to visit Kiribati Coconut Development Limited (KCDL) coconut oil plant.


On 18 June 2026, High Commissioner Suneet Mehta paid a courtesy call on Hon. Willie Tokataake, Speaker of the House of Assembly of Kiribati who fondly recalled his fruitful visit to India to attend 28th Conference of Speakers and Presiding Officers of the Commonwealth (CSPOC) in January 2026.


On 18 June 2026, High Commissioner Suneet Mehta held a productive meeting with Hon. Ruateki Tekaiara, Minister for Education of Kiribati.


On 17 June 2026, HC met with MWYSSA officials and discussed setting up of Yoga Centre in Kiribati as announced under FIPIC-III.


On 17 June 2026, as part of the celebrations of the 12th International Day of Yoga (IDY) 2026, High Commission of India, Suva and Swami Vivekananda Cultural Centre in collaboration with Ministry of Women, Youth, Sports & Social Affairs (MWYSSA) of Kiribati organized a vibrant yoga session at KNYC Maneaba. High Commissioner Suneet Mehta was part of the event.

On 17 June 2026, High Commissioner Suneet Mehta visited the Dialysis Centre in Kiribati, being established with funding support from India.


On 16 June 2026, High Commissioner Suneet Mehta was pleased to meet with a high-level team from the Ministry of Infrastructure and Sustainable Energy of Kiribati.


On 16 June 2026,High Commissioner Suneet Mehta was warmly received by Hon. Tangariki Reete, Minister for Commerce, Industry & Cooperatives, and Hon. Martin Moreti, Minister of Justice of Kiribati, at Bonriki International Airport, Tarawa.


On 16 June 2026, High Commissioner Suneet Mehta paid a warm courtesy call on Hon. Bootii Nauan, Kiribati’s Minister for Health and Medical Services.


On 16 June 2026, High Commissioner Suneet Mehta had the honour of presenting Letters of Credence to H.E. Taneti Maamau, President of the Republic of Kiribati and was also accorded a ceremonial Guard of Honour.
