Honored to have Hon. Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Finance, Strategic Planning, National Development and Statistics Prof. Biman Prasad as the Chief Guest.

On 14 May 2025, the group delivered an unforgettable performance at the Seaqaqa Cultural Centre, Seaqaqa. 

On 14 May 2025, the Bhojpuri Folk Music & Dance Group, led by the incredibly talented Mr. Rakesh Upadhyay, Sponsored by ICCR put on an unforgettable performance at Nasuva Mandir at Bua, Labasa This wonderful event was organized by HCI Suva, ICCR Suva in collaboration with Vanualevu Shree Sanatan Dharam Sabha. 

On the evening of 12 May 2025, the group performed at the Shree Sanatan Dharam Ramleela Mandir at Bulileka, Labasa.

The Group performed infront of Chief Guest Hon'ble Sitiveni Rabuka, Prime Minister of Fiji, Guest of Honour Hon'ble Pabitra Margherita, Minister of State for External Affairs, Government of India, Hon'ble Biman Prasad, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Finance, Strategic Planning, National Development and Statistics Hon'ble Charan Jeath Singh, Minister for Multi-Ethnic Affairs and Sugar Industry, Hon'ble Agni Deo Singh, Minister for Employment, Productivity Industrial Relations and many dignitaries who witnessed live performance at the 146th Girmit Day Commemoration at Subrail Park in Labasa on 12 May 2025.

On 11 May 2025, the famous Bhojpuri Folk Dance & Music Group of Rakesh Upadhyay sponsored by ICCR performed on the 2nd Day of Commemoration of Girmit Day, which was organized by HCI Suva, ICCR Suva and Fijian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Hon. Charan Jeath Singh, Minister for Sugar Industry and Multi-Ethnic Affairs graced the event as Chief Guest.

On 10 May 2025, the group performed at the opening of the 146th Girmit Day Commemoration at Subrail Park in Labasa.
