Visit of Defence Delegation for JWG in Fiji

The Joint Working Group Meeting held in Suva. 


During his visit to Suva on 18 July 2025, Shri Vishwesh Negi also paid a courtesy call on Minister for Defence & Veteran Affairs Hon. Pio Tikoduadua. 


The 1st Joint Working Group meeting between the Ministries of Defence of India and Fiji was held in Suva on 18 July 2025. Discussions, led by Joint Secretary (International Cooperation) Shri Vishwesh Negi and Acting Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Defence, Fiji, Ms Sainitiki Ravuso, focused on training and capacity building to strengthen defence ties. 


On 17 July 2025, an 8-member delegation, led by Joint Secretary (International Cooperation) Shri Vishwesh Negi, visited Blackrock Camp in Nadi, Fiji. The team toured the state-of-the-art facility, reinforcing India-Fiji ties.
