ITEC Day Celebrations 2025

High Commission of India Suva celebrated the ITEC Day at Suva on 31 October 2025. The event was attended by several ITEC alumni drawn from different Ministries of the Fiji Government, provincial administrations, autonomous bodies, and private sector. Chief Guest Hon'ble Viliame Gavoka, Deputy Prime Minister & Minister for Tourism & Civil Aviation graced the occasion. In his keynote address, Hon’ble DPM thanked the Government & people of India for the continued commitment to Fiji’s development and capacity building. He stated that ITEC has become a bridge of friendship between Fiji and India. High Commissioner Suneet Mehta highlighted that India’s development cooperation with partner countries was driven by the philosophy of ‘Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam’. He expressed satisfaction with the fact that over 850 Fijians attended ITEC programmes since 2014. A big thank you and Vinaka Vakalevu to everyone who participated at the memorable event.
